Whilst Clayton Fine Jewellery has been in business since November 2004, the directors have worked within the high quality retail jewellery industry for many years. I am Keith Clayton, Managing Director, and I started my career within the antique jewellery trade in 1969. I’ve spent the last 32 years working for a major high quality jewellery retailer in the South-East. My sister Tina and my wife Rita both worked for the same retailer, and now together we have formed a wonderful retail jewellery business in Haslemere, Surrey.

Setting out to be different from the rest, at Clayton Fine Jewellery we wanted to avoid the ‘stuffy’ feeling portrayed by many, the ‘starkness’ of others, the ‘out of date’ look of others………and even more importantly wanted to offer professional, polite, knowledgeable and personal service that is difficult to find anywhere!

We believe that we have succeeded in this. Customers tell us that our shop is delightful; filled with interesting, traditional and contemporary jewellery, watches and gifts that you won’t find in every jewellery shop on every High Street.

We are just as happy showing a piece of silver jewellery for £10 or selling a diamond ring for £5,000. If you are looking for something not shown in our stock or on our website, then we are always delighted to try and find it for you. If necessary we can arrange for a piece of jewellery to be created especially for you. Our combined 50 years of experience means that we have much knowledge about seemingly unusual and difficult to find products, unknown by others.

Most of the pieces of jewellery shown on our website are available in a variety of gemstones. If you like a particular design, but the gemstone or some other detail is not quite right, please tell us about it and we’ll see what can be done.

We’ve attempted to show a great variety of interesting stock. We don’t claim to have everything in stock all of the time, so if you are travelling from some distance to visit us and there is something specific you’d like to see then please call beforehand. We’ll do our best to arrange for it to be available for you to view at a convenient time.

Haslemere is a delightful little town to visit. A good day out can be enjoyed wandering around mainly independent, high quality, interesting shops. There are some excellent places for coffee or lunch; even a well-known museum and some great walking country.

Of course, if you are unable to visit we are always happy to take orders by email, by post and by telephone. We accept most credit and debit cards and orders are despatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery for next day delivery.
