Haslemere, Surrey

Haslemere High Street in Surrey

Haslemere is a delightful little town to visit. A good day out can be enjoyed wandering around mainly independent, high quality, interesting shops. There are some excellent places for coffee or lunch; even a well-known museum and some great walking country.

Haslemere is unique. Situated on the borders of Hampshire and West Sussex, this historic market town with its timbered and tile-hung houses and cottages, is one of the gems of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Haslemere is also a great shopping destination that has maintained it’s traditional character and sense of individuality. Two-thirds of the shops in and around Haslemere are independently owned, some of which have been run by two or more generations of the same family, giving the town a friendly community atmosphere and making shopping a unique experience. Clayton Fine Jewellery are one such independent retailer.
