About Clayton Fine Jewellery

Clayton Fine Jewellery was set up in 2004 by Keith Clayton, who worked within the high quality retail jewellery industry for many years. Keith started his career within the antique jewellery trade in 1969. He then spent the 32 years working for a major high quality jewellery retailer in the Surrey.

His sister Tina and wife Rita both worked for the same retailer, and now together they have formed a wonderful retail jewellery business in Haslemere, Surrey. They have since been joined by three colleagues from their previous employer whom he has known for a long time, so between them they have a tremendous breadth of experience.

Setting out to be different from the rest, Clayton Fine Jewellery wanted to avoid the ‘stuffy’ feeling portrayed by many jewellers, the ‘starkness’ of others, the ‘out of date’ look of others… and even more importantly, wanted to offer a professional, polite, knowledgeable and personal service that is difficult to find anywhere!

We believe that we have succeeded in this. Customers tell us that our shop is delightful; filled with interesting, traditional and contemporary jewellery, watches and gifts that you won’t find in every jewellery shop on every High Street.
